Oğuz Nuri ALICI

I am coming from an airman family; therefore I grew up among aircraft, uniforms and pilots. When I was yet 18 years old I flew by glider consequently 3 years in the summer sessions at İnönü Gliders School of Turkish Aviation Association and got my first badge and license years ago. Naturally, once when you take-off, glide away, taste the feeling and excitement which can only be understood by those who experienced it, the adoration of aviation starts in that time.
I had to postpone always this dream because there was no possibility to take pilot training in Turkey except Anadolu University Pilot Training Program. After AYJET commenced with the training and the first alumni began to fly, not thinking twice I enrolled myself to AYJET for the 7th Term.
Not because I was graduated from this flight school but in all honesty I must say that I cannot compare AYJET with any other flight school due to its distinguished instructors, quality, organized and disciplined and also warm atmosphere.
After being graduated in the determined time period, one and a half year passed while waiting for the good news of the applications to the airline companies. This time was so long for me…
On those years when we were graduated, the recruitments to airline companies were not so promptly and clearly as nowadays, but finally my dream came true by being employed to Turkish Airlines.
I have flown by B-737 fleet in Turkish Airlines, and it is planned that I will start Type Rating of A330 aircraft, in that case I will keep going on to study… Time passes so fast and fully and I suggest with my whole heart these satisfying and hard long journey not only to student pilots but also to all young who are willing to aviation.
In this distinguished, pleasing and as well stressful profession, I wish for my each flight that my feelings exciting me like in my first flight never end and keep going on with health and peace.
The pilot profession in civil aviation sector, after fulfilling the requirements, is build up primarily with flight school, then airline company, flight tempo, social life, physical and spiritual health, and updating himself continuously in knowledge level. To be a member of an attractive and financial satisfying profession requires devotion and hard working. In my humble opinion; each respectful and patient airman can reach his dreams and live them like us by working systematically and giving efforts.
Best regards to everyone…

M.Murat ESENDIR

I was born in 1979. I completed all of my educations in Istanbul. After being graduated from Istanbul University Political Sciences Faculty, Department of International Relation in the beginning of 2005, I completed my military service at the end of the same year. I acquainted with AYJET Anatolian Stars Flight School in January 2006. On those years AYJET developed a project with Onur Air concerning the Flight Officer Training.
After being informed about this project through a newspaper announcement, I visited AYJET in order to get some information. At that time Kadir Peker was the General Coordinator and I met him. Captain Peker enlightened me in details about the requirements of pilot profession, working and course conditions. I, personally, have been always exceedingly interested in machines. High-tech machines such as cars, motorcycles, submarines, ships and aircraft have always attracted my attentions. For sure, the idea of using extraordinary machines, like aircraft, was very exciting for me. After a few days consideration, I decided to start with the training. It makes me very happy to see now that this decision is one of my best decisions for all of my life.
I started in March 2006 and completed my pilot training in August 2007. After a couple of months looking for job with the coordination of Captain Celal Cingöz, I was called for an interview at SunExpress and started to fly for SunExpress Istanbul Base in December 2007. Due to its intensive flights I completed the requirements of being captain in SunExpress, and was assigned as captain pilot 5 years 4 days later than I got my CPL License on 24th of August 2012
As far as I know, I am the third Captain Pilot among the AYJET alumni; and among the 3rd Term and SunExpress the first one. Of course I don’t mention this in every case to plume myself on, but in the conditions of our country, I am proud of myself that I got quickly the steps up of a popular job, let’s say in such a young age. I would like to thank to all instructors of AYJET, particularly to Cpt. Seyfi Yıldız, Cpt. Celal Cingöz, and Cpt. Ahmet Ergene and to Cpt. Salim Onur who I had the opportunity to fly together in SunExpress that they contributed for this pride.
I had the chance to see the advantages of the training and the aviation discipline that our instructors of AYJET taught us, both in the flight deck and in the administrational relations of the sector. It is already well-known by everyone that in pilot training AYJET is a brand and a quality symbol. In this regard, I believe that all Turkish youth can fulfill the requirements of this job with all the supports of AYJET who trust his/her sedulity and feels indescribable happy in the aircraft.
With the training background of AYJET, today I have my dear wife İlkay, my son Bora who might be also a pilot in the future and even not long but with safe flight past.
My Best Regards,

Birol ATSAN

My name is Birol Atsan. In 2008, I got the chance to start pilot training at AYJET Anatolian Stars Flight School, which I have dreamed for many years to be a pilot. I was 38 years old when I applied for and started with the training and among all other student pilots I was the big brother for them. Though, I was aware that I was a bit old to start with this training, I continued with the trainings.
Even some of our flight instructors called me “classmate”, they were always concerned, helpful and shared their knowledge and experiences from the beginning to the end.
The instructors of AYJET Flight School taught us and protected and supported us. Therefore the expression “AYJET Family” suits too much to our Flight School.
After being graduated successfully from AYJET Flight School, I completed my ATPL Training by undergoing the Airbus 320 Type Training at IFTC and afterwards I started to fly for Sky Airlines.
With all my best wishes to all my friends who set their heart on aviation. They should never postpone their dreams.
May the sky be always with you…
My best regards,
Birol ATSAN
