AYJET – SUNEXPRESS COOPERATION IN MPL INTEGRATED TRAINING
SunExpress Airlines, a joint venture between Turkish Airlines and Lufthansa, and AYJET decided to cooperate in pilot training by implementing the MPL Integrated Training program. With this cooperation MPL Integrated Training Program has been implemented for the first time in Turkey. The selection stages of the pilot candidates to participate in the MPL Integrated Training Program are carried out by SunExpress Airlines. For this program it is required to be Turkish citizens, university graduates and have a good command of English.
Within the scope of MPL Integrated Training program, ATPL(A) theoretical knowledge training and Core Flying Skill Phase 1 and Basic Phase 2 are given by AYJET Approved Training Organization. Intermediate Phase 3 and Advanced Phase 4 are provided by the SunExpress Approved Training Organization.
The candidates are not charged for the training cost. Candidates, who participate in the MPL Integrated Training program, will be employed under the SunExpress Airlines umbrella if they have successfully completed the training. The costs of the MPL Integrated Training Program will be covered by regular deductions from the salaries of the pilots, trained in this program.
Within the scope of this cooperation, it is planned to train 120 pilots in six terms. Five terms were started in 2019 and the 6th term will be started in 2020.

TURKISH AIRLINES & AYJET ATO COLLABORATION IN FLIGHT TRAINING
Flying to the most destinations in the world and the flag carrier of Turkey, Turkish Airlines and AYJET Approved Training Organization (ATO) signed a collaboration agreement on January 15, 2015 in order to train pilots on behalf of Turkish Airlines.
According to this agreement, Turkish Airlines implements its own selection processes to pilot candidates and gives job-guarantee.
The student groups selected by Turkish Airlines meticulously show superior performance in flight trainings and the graduated pilots start their own fleets by taking type trainings in Turkish Airlines.
After the completion of the first agreement, the cooperation agreement was renewed on September 18, 2019 and the training cooperation was extended until the end of 2023.
